Our History
The Philippine Science High School Foundation Inc. (PSHSFI) was incorporated on February 11, 1978 as a non-stock, non-profit organization registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Philippines. It was established by alumni, parents, friends, and supporters of the Philippine Science High School (PSHS) who recognized the need for a private institution that could bridge the gap between government allocation and the resources required to sustain world-class science education.
Since its founding, the Foundation has grown into the principal private partner of PSHS, channeling donations and voluntary contributions into scholarships, faculty development, infrastructure improvement, and a wide range of student support programs. Decades of sustained giving have helped PSHS maintain its standing as the country's premier science high school and one of Southeast Asia's most competitive secondary institutions.
