Building facilities and structures to enable excellence.

The PSHS Foundation, Inc. bridges the gap between government allocation and what the Philippine Science High School needs to achieve its objective: “PSHS aims to prepare globally competitive Filipino scientists equipped with 21 st century skills guided by its core values of truth, excellence, and service to the nation”. Thus, PSHSFI funds infrastructure projects not funded by the government. Through the years, the program has caused the Rebuilding of the burned down Humanities Faculty Center; Renovation of the Chemistry (funded by Batch 87) and the Biology Laboratories (funded by Batch 88), among many others. Projects include the building of a solar facility 12kwp facility with Ayala Foundation and Batch 85, the Samsung Smart Classrooms with Samsung Philippines and the PSHS MC FabLab (an initiative of Batch 90) through donations from Smart Communications, Inc. and Metrobank. Based on perceived need and approved by the PSHS Main Campus Director and the PSHS BOT, the donor (alumni batches usually, corporate donors sometimes) determines which infrastructure or facility shall be the target of his/her donation. INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM The most recent infrastructure project is “Josie’s Nook”, the Student Wellness Center, which is the legacy project of Batch 98 when they celebrated their 25 th Jubilee in 2023. Planned are laboratories, classrooms and other facilities upon completion of the new 6 story Senior Year Building. Infrastructure Projects are funded by grant donations and the interest income of the Del Rosario Infrastructure Fund.
